2011 VSCC Pomeroy Trophy
« on: 01 March, 2011, 03:09:00 PM »
Congratulations to Jason Kennedy for being third overall in the "Pom" this year in his very fast Fiat. Louise drove the family B 20 and Tony Stephens was in his recently restored B20, but they didn't quite get into the awards, according to the provisional results. Well done for taking part, though. It's a great event and now open to the public, so this time next year, perhaps more people will spectate. The overall winner, thanks to the handicapping system and being well driven, was the Frazer Nash Saloon, recently resored by Patrick Blakeney- Edwards and a real credit to him. I'll post the final results when they are published, as they make intereting reading. Regards, John

And while we are at it, congratulations to John Millham for a second class award in the Measham Rally in the Augusta; no mean feat.

Louise did get an award after all. Jolly well done! Tony wasn't far behind, either.
The full list of results is attached. Test A is the "wiggle - woggle"; test B the acceleration and braking test; tests C and D the standing and flying 250 metres; test E the high speed trial.  Regards, John
