I have had an email from somebody who would like to know what his Delta 1.3 is worth.  It is an H-reg and described as being in better than average condition with no rust.  Any guidance will be gratefully received!

Hi Stu

Impossible to value without seeing it. As you know we are so often told " hardly any rust" then we go to view!

Do we know if it is a basic, a Brio or an LX? Any indication as to mileage and condition of interior?

Over the last 2 years i have heard of 1300 Deltas being 1)given away (running, mechanincally good, structurally ok, but cosmetically a little challenged), 2) £250, one owner, 50k miles, full MOT, no tax, bodily superb but needed rear end welding, and 3) £600 for an exceptionally nice all together example.

I went to look at one last year described as excellent throughout, which whenIi got there was mechanically challenged and needed welding to the rear turrets, and £1000 was being asked for that, as that was what the guy had been told iot was worth by someing "who knew" but hadn't acctually seen it! - so I would suggest it is worth as much as someone wants to pay for it.

That's not a lot of help really, is it!!

A

Can we get some pics?

Sorry, the only information I have been given so far is what I posted in the initial post.  My first thought is that it would be worth no more than £1000 if fully restored, but my knowledge on Delta values is limited to integrale and nuova Delta!

Really pristine ones get the right side of £1k and might even nudge £2k - but you are then talking minters.  I'll bet this is one which is in the hundreds, not the thousands.
