could anyone confirm if the front seat reclining mechanisms are interchangable between coupes+sports as i have been offered some.best regards richard

I seem to remember there are subtle differences. The Sport mech is only on one side wereas the coupe connects both sides doubling the spring. I think I have used bits from coupe to repair Sport mechanisms. TAV pages show differences (short on time so cant scan).

i have checked my parts book and there are different part numbers for coupe and sport mechanisms it seems.i wonder if the screw holes line up.if i cant find the answer perhaps i will take one off and visit the chap who has some for sale

I have replaced the Zagato (1.5 series, 1971) seat with the mechanism from an S2 coupe. Works fine.
