Matt Saunders who 'interviewed' me on the phone a few weeks back did ask if I was interested but I said I'd think about it ! Never heard
anything else but would probably have declined after reading some of their road tests!

I agree Andy not the best example picked, the suspension looked incredibly low which would have made the ride worse.Looked like a
Japanese spec car with the earlier headlamp set up, never understood why these were fitted unless it was to meet some headlamp
regulation ? Perhaps Paul  (038tipo) could shed some light? No pun intended!

There is a whole bunch (that's what it looks like) of import cars being sold from this place : http://www.motocars.co.uk and that one is probably one of them. It's been asked on about them on evoforum a few months back.

I don't know the answer about the lights either, the side indicators are different too (square and lower down).

If lights and indicators are as described then it will be a Japanese spec car.

Yes it was a Japanese spec car. Do you know if the headlights/ indicators were purely a styling issue requested for that market or were they fitted to meet local regulations ? I know some special editions/colours were requested for certain markets such as the first run
of yellow cars (evo 1) which were for the German market I seem to remember.

Hi Steve.
I think it was a requirement rather than a cosmetic choice.
The original 400 yellow evo 1s were for Italy as the first two were used by Ravanelli and Baggio to arrive at home games in a Lancia (part of their deal), and a different colour comination was thought of, Ferrari Yellow with black leather.
The limited edition yellow cars which were present in  Germany were the Holzer editions.
