Anyone know of a good place to get a Distributor cap for a 1968 Fulvia Zagato?.

Also need points, condenser, coil & rotor arm. Not to expensive.

Can anyone recommend a good replacement coil?

Paul

Lucas Sport is a good replacement. Not sure of the model I use as I am not near my car....

Tim

PS I would buy the other bits from Omicron/Tanc as some pattern points on ebay etc are no good.

Hello Paul

S1 cars can be fitted with Ducellier or Marelli dizzies, whereas S2 cars are Marelli.   That looks like a Ducellier cap, to me.   Parts might be a bit more difficult to find, and make sure you get the right ones.   It is possible to use the S2 Marelli distributor in the S1 engine, with standard timing of 8 degrees.

Hi all, thanks for you input.

Now sorted with the coil but having difficulty getting the other Ducellier ignition parts. I contacted Omicron but don't have in stock and are ordering some bits in but could take some time, already taken a couple of months. can atone recommend another place to try?

Have you tried Cavalitto in Turin, they seam to have most things in stock. They used to have an advert in VL. Do not know how they deal with Telephone enquiries as I have only visited them in person before.

Hi all thanks for your input. Almost completely given up on getting Ducellier ignition bits for my Zagato, not even Omcron can help. Going to take Roddys advice and fit a Marelli distributor, this I can easily get bits for.

Anyone got a good Marelli distributor they don’t want?
