As part of my resto I want to refurb the door handles. I've now been told that they are probably not suitable for re-chroming due to being made of mazak. Questions therefore is a) is this correct? b) if so what are my options?
Any help as always gratefully recieved

I got a set from Omicron, very good quality. They look and feel like they are made from solid brass.

your old ones could be repaired and refurbished, but it's not cost effective and much easier to look for better ones, or as suggested brass ones from Omicron, much better bet but no doubt costly.
