Do you mean Flavia?  Is it a flat 4 or V4 engine?

Sounds more like a 2000, if it's an HF.

Mike emailed me about this geabox.  Probably my dyslexic fingers typing Fulvia instead of Flavia when I replied to his email  Embarrassed I have edited the initial post and title to ensure it is correctly advertised.  The type plate on the gearbox is tipo 820437.

The blue plate number of 820.437 fits with it being from a 2000HF. In earlier less purist times it was quite common for these boxes to be used in Fulvias to give them longer legs. The final drive being 11/39, which works out to give more than 21 mph/ thousand revs. And I think the lower gears were higher too. Some swapping of parts like bell-housing, remote shift and flanges are necessary, but I think not too problematic. It’s this type of box fitted to my car and I like it!

Could be that another Fulvia owner might like to get hold of this item.
