I think 3K, if it includes all labour is too low. The materials will be £3-500 alone as you are repainting the entire car back to white then labour at say £50 you only have roughly 50 or so hours I do not think this is enough to do a rear valance, both doors and the inevitable 'while we are in there' jobs that will crop up. Of course if you can do some of he stripping and prep work you would save some money.

MY 1600HF IN HEARTBEAT GARAGE

I work for a insurance approved accident repair centre and agree with the last comment re pricing. We prepped and painted a Subaru bare shell, and all wings ,bonnet and boot, etc, and that came out at £6k Shocked. But went out looking mint, the prep work is the the secret, your prep standard and our prep standard, will  , believe me will be completely different. Hope that helps, you get what you pay for. After all the work on the Subaru, it was rebuilt by some one, went on the first event, rolled as was written off, thats rallying a cheap sport. Wink

Any shop worth its salt working on a Zagato will always find unavoidable extras.

After all the prep by my metal shop it went for paint and guess what the prep wasnt up to their standard so more cost. cant say how much I spent on restoring or wife would literally kill me! Depends on how much you are going to do your self and how quickly you want to start using the car. You dont want an unfinished project on your hands. My HF cost me £4k but the Sport was more than double!!

Thanks
