Jean-Marie did a fantastic job as regards the re-made steering wheels, great to see...he has some for sale I believe

Just had a look at all the other restoration work he's carried out, impressive!

Christo,

Lovely photos, I look forward to seeing the car in person (again) some time.

While we're on the subject of Aurelia steering wheels, can I ask you if you know of somewhere I could buy a horn button like the one on your lovely flat Nardi?

Rough running.  I've just (after a trail of false leads that included a recored radiator, new electric fuel pump, new ignition leads...) managed to sort the  bad behaviour of my S6 B20, which when hot, would start to run rough, then refuse to restart until it had cooled down.  I swapped a spare distributor in at the weekend and Bingo! the problem has gone.  I'm pretty sure that the internal wire that Chris referred to was at fault - the insulation strip between it and the body of the distributor increasingly acting as a conductor as things warmed up.

Hi Sebastian thanks for the steering wheel link I will def buy one if the price is not too mad.
The car is now in storage however its got to do to the DVLA soon so will tackle that distributor.
I thought it was ignition the carbs are clean and it runs very well when cold but then start with its fun backfiring even as if the timing is out.
I had a flamina gtl which caught fire 3 times on me ....
The Nardi thats currently on the car is my Lancia appia steering wheel I have put a standard one back. I bought the steering wheel in 1992 so not sure were one would get a similar one now days.
was hoping to have the car ready for AGM this year but commitments stopped it from happening.

Think you'll be giving this steering wheel a miss AM!
