Platino specification, in cream with tan leather interior. 2004 model, registered as new in the UK in August 2005. The car was on display at the 2006 NEC Classic Car Show.

The car has undergone engineering for use in the UK (headlight conversion, fog light transferred, MPH on the speedo dials, etc) and has single type approval.

The car comes with a dual sunroof, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, factory fitted Bose CD/radio with 6 speakers, and trip computer (in English!) I have had a Thatcham 2 immobiliser fitted in addition to the factory-fitted equipment.

The car has covered c. 69,000 miles since new and has a full service history (at the local Fiat / Alfa Romeo dealer), including the original purchase papers from the Italian garage, and shipping documentation.

Taxed until February 2010, and MOT until June 2009.

The car has been well-cared for and is in excellent condition.

Performance is sprightly rather than sporty, and the car consistently returns 46 – 48 mpg for both urban and motorway driving. (My personal record is 64 mpg whilst following a truck on the motorway!)

I have a change of job which means a longer commute so I am intending to return into my company’s car scheme, thus saving both the wear and tear, and my fuel bills!

Please contact me on (07967) 603396 or at harvey@lancia.me.uk

The car is in Bath. Any inspection welcome.

So the questions are - what company car are they letting you have, and are you getting a replacement Lancia?  Grin

I'll have to choose from the second-user list (not allowed to order new cars during the recession) but it's likely to be a Megane or Golf or similar. Bah.

On the plus side, my sister's garage is empty and she's not confident enough to park her own car in it. So, yes, another Lancia is on the cards. I'd really not like to be without a Lancia of some sort!

Given that choice, go for the Golf.  In silver or grey probably...

So - Gamma, Delta, Fulvia, Thema, Dedra?  So many choices, only one garage...

Harvey, I'd recommend that you post ads for the Ypsilon on www.carandclassic.co.uk and www.fiatforum.com, these being the 2 routes that generated the most enquiries.  Both are free. I had a lot of enquiries from Brits who live or have holiday homes in France for my Ypsi.  Have you booked a place at Bristol, as you'll have somewhat of a biased audience?

By the way, I think Peter Baker's still selling his very nice white Dedra.

The car has now reached 71,988 miles (give or take a mile) and is having the 72k service. This includes all belts changed and a thorough going over to tighten, tweak and adjust as required. I'm also having new brakes all round, so the car is in tip-top condition.

(I was dead chuffed that I was able to guess so closely when I'd hit 72k, as I'm now doing a fair few miles per week...)

The car is still for sale, and is now on 76,000 miles.

Consequently, I've adjusted the price to £3,800.

Yes, and it's a very comfy place to be!

Erm, the reason for the sale was the expected massive rise in commute distance - which has noticably come true.  Sad

I would stop using it for the commute! At that rate it's going to be worth not a lot......Or, put another way, wait until it has 85k on the clock and you have to reduce the price to £2500 and I'll have it!  Grin

I don't have a choice - it's my only car!
