If you cant help with the box, a photo of what it should look look would be appreciated

Please contact me on: pwood13660@blueyonder.co.uk   if you can please help.

Thanks, Paul

I can't help with a heater box I'm afraid, but here are some picture of my S1 Coupe heater box. The S2 box is different I think as the bulk head is different. Hopefully someone with an S1 Zagato will post a picture but maybe these help:

Thanks Neil, Phil

Think you might be right Neil, I need the one that fits the series one, not series two, thanks anyway Phil.

Neil, thanks for the pics.

Phil, did you get my email about your rear hatch for the Zagato?

Going by the parts list they are different, it shows.

1815075 for 815-130

2244805 for 818-132

1818895 for 818-332

An off-topic comment... Because of the typo in the title (sorry to draw attention), I just had to read this topic. I was intrigued by the idea of a heather box. We know the modern Beetle has a vase on the dash, but the concept of somewhere to store your lucky heather in the engine bay was beyond me. Was this a superstitious attempt to improve engine reliability, or an early form of aromatherapy? Alas, reading the topic has revealed a much more mundane explanation.

Sorry for the typo, Heather is the name of my wife, perhaps it was a frodiant slip?

She is a Big Woman.
