Most decent interior fabric/home furnishing stores will have the full Alcantara range.

Thanks Phil,
We've tried the official stockist near Andover but they don't carry the Ice.

Might be the opportunity for a bit of a masterclass here.  I don't know whether the upholstery material on my Delta 1300 classes as Alcantara - but what exactly is available through official stockists and home furnishings stores.  Since most of the 80s onwards cars used this stuff, and will be beginning to wear out, there are likely to be a few of us with need of supplies!

Hi Chris,
if it isn't Alcantara it will be a cloth so you should be able to easily tell the difference, can you post a photo of the interior?
My Delta HF Turbo had a plain grey alcantara, whereas Dedra & Thema were perforated but each to a different style, as was Dedra Turbo.

This company is the official Alcantara stockist for the UK, I've just tried ringing them but they only work until 12.30pm on a friday, I left a message querying if they can supply any of the Alcantara colours fitted to Lancia's in the late 1908's- early 1990's, I'll post their reply, assuming I get one.

Brian - when I get home I'll e-mail you a photo of my interior.  I fear trying to post on here may be beyond me...

I did look at this around 4 to 5 years ago when I had the "great" idea that if Thema and Dedra owners showed enough interest we could perhaps buy some and reduce costs. I had a brochure etc from the suppliers, but the cost was huge - £90 a metre or something like that - no idea if square metre or whatever. Then you had the cost of getting someone to machine it to match the seat style, so gave up. That and the fact there are quite a few colour variations just made it unviable - at that time. However, things may have changed now.

One of the chaps in the LMC, used to be a trim supplier, put me onto the sellers of the material. Can't recall his name but he had a Beta HPE of 1970s vintage, which he had had redone in alcantara. Was down Redditch/Birmingham way.

It was probably something like 1 1/2 to 2 metres wide as it usually comes on the roll, most people I know who have wanted some, only need enough to repair/replace the side of the backrest, or the cushion where it's gone into holes.
But the variations in colour ! I'm pretty sure that the "Ice" in Dedra and Thema is different, certainly so with the pattern or perforations.
Really the best way is what I did with a scrap Dedra in the dark green Alcantara, (one of the best & most durable colours) and that was to strip off a couple of good seat covers, which gave me quite enough for future repairs, but I let it all go when I sold my last black Dedra.

I've now spoken to 'Boyriven' and the "Ice" Alcantara cost is £68.75 per metre, at 142cm's wide, not sure if this includes Vat or postage.
They only have 10.4 Metres left, so if anyone wants any for a future seat repair, this is probably the last chance you'll get; they are also putting me samples in the post of what other colours are still available.
