looks a damn good basis for someone with a rotton aprilia...................i need to win the lottery and retire so i can hoover up as many old lancia's as poss Grin

I saw it too but i think the days are past when one would scrap an aprilia body to swap bits over to another shell. This would have been much sought after in the 60's and 70's I guess. The real problem is sourcing all the bits to complete it if you don't have a full car to start with.I think most aprilias still existing are probably too good (and stay that way) to scrap completely and start again. Anyway , it won't fit in my garage to keep as a spare Grin

We have the same problem's with aprilia's and augusta's, we have 3 aprilia's , 2 we aim to restore 1 sell on as a kit of parts, problem is the 3rd car is worth far more to us in spare parts but cant bring ourselves to cut the shell up! we have 2 augusta's on the road, a belna cabriolet for restoration and an incomplete belna saloon, the belna saloon is a really solid origional shell and far too good to break up, i've even concidered making it into a pickup but cant bring myself to ruin a really good restorable shell, i hope some day i will be able to complete the car to restore as a standard vehicle...........who knows!
