Hi all,

New MC member so, Hello!  Smiley

I recently bought a Fulvia S2 from South Africa. The heating fan is completely seized up. Of course I could attempt to restore this one, but as we all know fan motor efficiency has come a long way since the 1970's.

Has anyone had any experience of fitting a more modern fan set to the Fulvia?

Cheers!

How far have you persevered with trying to get the fan motor working? I’m surprised that it has seized.

Trying to fit a different fan is likely to be a lot more work than fixing the existing one. IMO the standard one is perfectly good. I’ve taken apart an S2/3 radiator fan motor to paint it and it was pretty simple.

Hey Wangler, Thanks for the reply.

As of yet not that far, but I figured if I'm going to take it out anyway, may as well have an exploration in what can be done Smiley
