Received news from  Turboactive

As a brief introduction, Turboactive are Garretts UK master distributor, promoting and supporting their full range of turbochargers to the UK aftermarket, we have been in the turbo industry for over 25 years, originally as a remanufacturer, but now as an official distributor for the world’s leading tier 1 manufacturers

I’m sure you are all aware that Garrett was the original manufacturer of the turbocharger for Lancia HF Integrale 8V and 16V installation, sadly these were made obsolete some time ago, but I have good news for any owner of these classics, Garrett have reintroduced them as part of their Classic range, but using their latest technology design and components Garrett Classic | Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16V | Evo 1 16V – Garrett Motion

As well as information for the higher performance HF Integrale 16V and 16V Evo1, I’ve also attached information for the road going version which also fits the Lancia Dedra, Fiat Coupe and Alfa 155 (released last year), the main difference between the two units, is the turbine and compressor wheel fitted in the HF Integrale 16V version are bigger, giving a higher horsepower. These units are a direct fit for the original version, no fabrication or alterations are required

Garrett has stock of both versions which are available from us, should any members have a Renault 5 GT turbo in their collection, this turbo has also been rereleased by Garrett and is also in stock

Its not the winning but taking part! or is it taking apart?

Very interesting Tim that the Renault 5 GT turbo unit was also available at the same time. Whilst rebuilding my Delta 1600 Turbo unit after an oil seal gave up at a Goodwood Trackday I found that many parts were shared with the Renault unit. I think this was seals and bearings rather than shaft and casing which perhaps are the same generic size as the integrale  unit?
