Hi All, further to my post last year re; wheel refurb, I’m going to to take my cromadora’s off the 1600HF and get them refurbished at DA Techs. I’m going to go for the gold colour so I’m hoping someone may be able to help with the RAL number for the gold colour?

Any help appreciated!

Cheers, Martyn.

I dont know the gold code but it isnt RAL. The name is I believe Oro from the Flavia body colour. The silver cromodora is reportedly Argento nevada the Fulvia body colour. Be interested in what transpires.

Hi all, while on the subject of wheel colour, does anyone have a reference code/name for the silver used on the S2 & Fulvia3 steel wheels. I’ve looked back on previous threads and not found anything. Cheers Simon

We have been here before and it's worth repeating a caution about Argenta Nevada. As a body colour, Argenta Nevada comes in various forms and if it's plain silver you want, you need to be more specific.

Steel wheels are different again. Agenta Nevada is too silvery (Colin's remarks are relevant as there is a greenier mix for that colour).

Colin, Tim, thank you and apologies Martyn for hi jacking your enquiry!
Unfortunately I don’t have an unmolested wheel for reference, I don’t dislike the colour of mine but wanted to refinish before fitting new rubber. Has nobody found a RAL colour which is close to the original?

They are magnesium alloy and require special treatment.   I had mine done routinely and the paint has all bubbled up and I will have to get them redone.

Hi All, so I took my Cromadora’s to
DA Techs in Chorley which was a recommendation from a member of the LMC. The service from these guys has been fantastic and they actually tracked the gold colour down based on a post I found in the LMC Forum. The wheels do have some minor pitting but im really happy with them.
