That looks good - you will deserve the coffee. Reminds me of the pleasure of driving my Fulvia in the rain, and is a pretext for the attached photo. This was Castle Combe track-day in 1998, photo by J. Gaisford, the CC photographer who probably has copyright.

It rained all Sunday morning here in South West Lancashire, but my drive round the lanes was very enjoyable. Ended up in Liverpool for breakfast and monthly Cars and Coffee meet.

Nice to see you are out and about Norm, a little rain will not hurt and your Nardi wheel looks lovely.

After a very wet weekend and some hefty miles it’s always nice to get detailed ready for the next weekend.

Norm, well done for being out in the rain The small Italian front number plate is fantastic and makes all the difference. I've also gone with the small one

We were touring the N York Moors in October (plenty of rain there too). Night time driving in the rain was not helped by having such large vehicles on the road behind you (this was a typical car park). They breed them big, up North....

Well, the comparison photo shows up what bloated sh*theaps the vehicles that most people seem to drive today are. Fulvia, berlinas and coupés, are the Goldilocks of cars, neither one extreme or the other, and useable in all circumstances. They are the ideal day to day car in my opinion, and I cannot for one moment think why one would worry about driving in the rain. Cesare

"Mini" - you gotta be joking! It's not the rain that stops us motoring but the blasted salt - the season is nearly upon us dammit! Mike
