Engine required for a GTE sedan. I am not up on the saloons but I think it is a S1, i.e. dynamo rather than alternator.

Posting the ad for a friend with a seized engine (he still has ancilliaries of course)

His email is grahamstreeter53@tiscali.co.uk
Thanks

Jai,
If it's definitely a GTE  1296cc, rather than a GT 1216cc or 1231cc, then an engine from a series 1 Rallye Coupe is the same engine,
Type 818.302.

How bad is the old engine, would it not be worth rebuilding?

Thanks Brian, it is apparently seized so my friend would prefer to find one to drop in I think.
