Hi, Anyone had to source a machine screw for a Solex C40 PAAI? I dropped the machine screw that holds the starter/choke assembly the carb body (slotted raised countersunk M4 x 20mm in brass) into the depths of the engine bay!
An ideas of where to get one? I can get something similar from Ebay but the correct one has a 7.5mm shank (shaft unthreaded), which I can't find - see parts manual image attached

In case anyone's interested the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) for M4 machine screws had a 0.75 pitch. I've ordered a couple from UK based classic Japanese parts outfit called Zed Parts. Haven't received them yet, but I'm confident they'll fit. They're steel, not brass though.
