This is a real anorak question I am afraid but I feel sure the Forum will provide the answer.
Our B12 has rear passenger interior sprung roof handles but do any earlier Aurelia Sedan iterations ( B10, B21, B22) have them as well?
I cant see them in any photos I have looked at but they are not the sort of thing that anyone usually bothers to photograph properly.
The ones in our B12 are made with an aluminium base and plastic covered rotating sprung handle whereas as a very general statement, the brightwork on B12 changed to chrome plating from the polished aluminium used in the earlier Saloons.
Can anyone help please?
Chris

Here is a rather poor photo (taken only for insurance purposes) of the rear interior of our B12 showing these rear grab handles.

From homologation papers, not so easy to tell... the originals seem a wee bit clearer, and no handle on the B21... but then again not on the B12 either. Murky.

My B21S has a new tan interior and I have this spare pair of sprung rear hangers on my shelfwhich could blend in OK. But looking at them they seem a little 'modern', particularly compared to the 'vendilo ' one is the earlier photo. (These are currently advertised by vendilo  on ebay as being for B12 btw).
Maybe mine in the photo below are from a Flaminia or Flavia Saloon.
Whatever they are lovely things and I might use them if I can establish that those in my B12 are OE.

Nor does my B12. Also, no grab handle is evident from the photo in the B12 sales brochure that I have.
The woven plastic braid on the grab handle photograph is the same as on the handgrips mounted on the rear of the front seat.

Late to the party. No separate grab handles in my B12 Berlina either.
I was once told by an old Italian gentleman that the pleated straps behind the front bench where there to hang a woolen rug for the use of the rear passengers, in cold weather.

Now I am back in the UK here are a couple of better photos of the rear grab handles in my B12.
You can see that they must be  attached to something reasonably substantial  in the roof behind the headlining so maybe they were an aftermarket accessory. That might explain why the ebay 'Vendile' vendor describes them as for B12?
As to whether I fit the pair of beige/brown spring rear grab handles in my B21S, I am not sure. The interior headlining design looks slightly different so the grab handles might easily be mounted through the cloth covered aluminium trim the B21S has but that car is in Italy and there is no rush.
I suppose the only unanswered question is what car were these rear grab handles originally fitted to as OE, if there was one?
Thanks very much  to all the B12 owners who contributed.
Chris
