Hi all,

I have an early S2 1.6 HF and the motor is stamped MOT 818.540 and then the Lancia "L" and the five digit engine number in a different font are located directly underneath.

I have seen HFs with and without the MOT stamp. Is it just early vs late difference in application at the factory? Or does it mean more?

Is this is like the Porsche KD/AT stamps which were used to indicate a factory replacement case on early 356 and 911 cars?

Can anyone tell me what the procedure was for Fulvias?

Best,

JB

Cant really help but suspect normal stamping. No matching number scenario in Fulvia Land if that is what you are referring to.

Its not the winning but taking part! or is it taking apart?
