However, Toyota did visit the garage of the car Buemi punted off into immediate retirement and apologise, and so they should have, although I wouldve thought Buemi himself should have done so. It seems to me that Toyota are feeling the effects of strong opposition this season and are maybe not reacting particularly well under the pressure. They complained about the "success ballast" handed to them for the 24 hours of Le Mans (37 kg), but neglected to mention that Ferrari were likewise penalised (24 kg), so actually only 13kg difference, not 37kg. |
