Jason and I have been thinking about our cars and sadly it’s time to make the hard decision to say goodbye to Bertie Beta and wave him off to a wonderful new family. In our view the best time to sell a car is when it’s working, wants for nothing and you are happy with it!
Bertie is a 1983 Beta HPE 2000 i.e sold new by Chequered Flag (still has original stickers and number plates). He’s a wonderful cruiser and is a very easy car to live with; a fantastic part of our collection.
All original, working and lovely interior (including the stereo), period tow bar (only used for our vintage bikes) and great body and paint. We had the wheels powder coated a slightly darker colour to match our race Beta Coupe - they can very easily be returned to standard colour. The engine bay is in remarkable condition (original clips) and all mechanicals are in fine fettle. The car is wonderful to drive.
No idea how to price it as we can’t find a similar one for sale - on asking around, suggestions are around the £14k range but let’s talk. Please message me for more info.
