under the dash, RHS of car in a LHD car, not sure for a RHD one, I would think it to be on LHS? There is a plastic cover fixed with two knurled plastic 'bolts' with that removed you can just see the connector. Beware the ABS ECU is in the same spot, but more or less horizontal orientated, the Bosch ECU is upright.
