Here's to sunnier days

Firstly let me state that I am NOT anally fixated on my car ever being concourse but, when I got my S1 Sport , the stainless steel trims around the top of the door frame window surrounds were missing and they had been sprayed black inside and out .  I eventually managed to get a couple of old doors from Dave Gee with the s/s surrounds and subsequently removed them and fitted them to mine .   So my question is (now that I need to tidy up the paintwork)  were the window surrounds on S1 Sports body colour or black inside ?

I do not know about S1 but S2 Sport (without any SS trims) are satin black frames.
