Are there any other members who can't make the Bristol meet but would be interested in a West Country get-together?

Yeovil Car Club runs several events during the year including scenic tours, but I've yet to see a Lancia at any of them which is a shame.

I'm sure there are plenty of clubs organising similar events, it would be good to meet other owners.

For any LMC members who are interested there are at least two options on the first Sunday of each month:

Haynes Museum breakfast club, Sparkford: https://www.haynesmuseum.org/haynesbreakfastclub

Hillbrush meeting, Mere: https://www.classicandsportscar.com/calendar/visit-hillbrush-cars-and-coffee

There is also a 'car & coffee' meeting every Sunday at Upton Bridge Farm Shop near Langport (A372)

Three pristine Lancias at the Sherborne Castle show, besides Jon's and my Fulvias. If the owners are interested in meeting up locally then let me know.

Final picture is of a Monte which my local Italian garage took in as part-exchange on a new baby Alfa. Easy to see where de Lorean got his inspiration from in this colour scheme:

Tried half a dozen times to post the final picture, keeps getting told it's forbidden, almost given up the will to live.

If anyone is interested, the mint silver Montecarlo at Auto Capozolli in Ilchester is potentially for sale. Call them for details.

Picture of the Monte - the Forum doesn't like an ' in a file name eg: Tony's Monte.jpg ( I don't know why - it must have some special meaning to the software )

Thanks Steve!

Final post for the weekend - if any Lancia owners are interested there's an Italian Car Day at Laycock Cider Farm in Dorset, just off the A30 between Sherborne and Henstridge:

Sign up on FB or email them to let them know you're coming, hopefully see a few people there

Just occurred to me the title should be Wessex meetings plural, will ask if it can be changed.

Anyway, a good time was had by all at yesterday's Italian car day at Laycock Cider Farm, many thanks to Luca at BAD Abarth for the invite and the Ferraris for hosting.

I didn't try the cider but the apple juice was excellent and good value compared with 'farm shop' prices.

Not many Lancias showed up but there was a good selection and we made friends with a few more local Italian car owners into the bargain.

The complex curves of the Flavia Zagato had everyone talking while the highlight for me was seeing a dusty 250 GTE next to a similar Flavia milleotto, confirming my view Pininfarina got paid twice for the same design.

Meanwhile, this Saturday at Whitehouse Farm, Cricket St Thomas, near Chard in Somerset, there's another chance to show and tell:

If you like helicopters you won't want to miss this event. Tickets aren't cheap but if you bring a classic car - it doesn't have to be a Lancia - you get in free.

You have to be there early doors before it opens to the public at 9am, and please email Nigel Guppy (nigel@guppy.org.uk) asap to confirm you are coming.

I'll be there all morning but I have a prior engagement in the afternoon (local cricket match).

Two authentic looking cars!
I understand red is not always the preferred colour these days.
