Can anyone help find me a complete and usable electrical connector which is rivetted to the inside of an Augusta headlamp? Apart from that, my car is about ready to run.

John,
Any chance of a  photo,  I have a friend who has a collection of about 6-7 cars from 1898 to 1960's(No Lancia!), if I know what it looks like I could ask him for you.

Thanks Brian. Inside and outside photos attached (I hope). You will see that my good one is secured by nuts and bolts rather than rivets.

have a look on ebay, especially ebay germany there are always bosh lamps or parts of them on there, i have bought various bits of lamps and the odd complete lamp to make a good pair as my car has 2 totally different lamps on it, its surprising what turns up and the german stuff goes for alot less money than the uk prices

Great. I would prefer you to pop it in the post for me, so I can fit it this week. I'll then be ready for the MOT and can start the negotiations with Swansea about the registration number. A few bits of wiring, replacing the trim inside and a brake bleed  - and the car should be ready to run. Regards, John

Thanks to Nick Benwell, I now have a pair of working headlamps. It's always worth asking Nick if you need any Bosch parts - and his prices are very reasonable.
