Hello,
I have an interesting bit of kit to sell.
1x Weber 40DCZ5 #2950
1x Nardi intake kit - made by Thornley Kelham.

The carburetor is complete, the shafts and gears have minimal play.
It needs a good clean and to have its base milled flat.
If its interesting,  I can have it milled prior to shipping it.

Send me a direct message, or you can mail me at ttmorstad æt gmail dot com for more information and photos

I had the weber´s base skimmed.
Milled it down 0,075mm and the base is now perfect.
Disassembled the carburetor and I am going to give it a run in the ultrasonic cleaner.
Some parts will be vapor blasted.

Not sure if I should leave the paint as-is?
It has a nice patina to it…

The gears are very good, so are the shafts and butterflies, so I will leave those as they are.

PS!
I have restored carburetors professionally for years, so the Weber will be in excellent shape when I am done : www.flattjern.com

Thank you!

Yes, its a take on Grigio Metallizzato.
The car was originally black according to the papers, but you got to live a little Smiley
