Hello, first post. Love these cars but no idea about mechanics etc.

My windscreen wipers currently don't work and when I replace the fuse (the missing one in the photo) it just blows as soon as I put the wipers on. The fuel and oil gauges also blow.

I know I should remove all the wires and clean the whole thing up but any help re which is the wiper relay would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes
Stuart

Check the circuit diagram in your owners manual. Not sure there is a relay for the wipers.
Its not the winning but taking part! or is it taking apart?

If the wipers are like the Beta, then direct from the stalk, ie no relays. Possibly a good mod is to install one.

Hello there and thank you for your replies and help. Yes I think you're right lancialulu the large relay is I believe for the headlights - said I know zero didn't i?? :-)

My Fulvia had been all rallied up so there's a switch on the dash for the wipers. I have got a wiring diagram now so will look at having the wiper switch and motor checked by the mechanic.

Pretty sure it's the heater boost blower switch that's blowing fuse number 8 which the wipers are also on.

Thanks again
