I think the comment was referring to the three 1928 Lambda Spiders built specifically for the Mille Miglia. We should have had a replica of one of these cars on the stand, non of the originals exist, but Covid restrictions prevented it from coming from Holland. It would have interesting to see the two side by side.

I was really interested in whether the 1928 Mille Miglia cars were really a "Factory Team" in the formal sense or privateers with factory support. If there was a formal factory team it's surprising there don't seem to be any promotional photos in circulation.
