Evening all
I’ve just bought a vx coupe to restore and am looking for a pair of doors if anyone can help.
I’m based in Carlisle but can travel.
Also a long shot but anyone got access to the material used on the seats.
Finally I think there’s a badge missing from the boot lid in the middle.
Thanks in advance Simon

The cloth is unique to the VX Coupe and has been unobtainium for many years.

However, there are plans afoot:

I've been looking for a drivers door for 3 years, so fairly rare! You just missed a passenger door sold on here last week unfortunately.

As Guy has pointed out above the Betaboyz Forum is invaluable if you are rebuilding a Beta.

If they're that hard to find just repair them, don't think they were that bad.. Cool

Mine has gone just above the quarter light, so I guess a tricky, but not impossible repair......

Yep it’s looking like I’m going to have to repair them.
It’s a pity because the rest of the car is pretty trust free and I’m trying to keep it filler free.
Am I correct in saying it’s only betaboyz that do repair panels ?

I'd say they are the only reliable UK source. Some of their panels are made to order, so can take some time, but the door related panels are probably regulars....

Any good restorer should be able to fabricate a repair panel, channel, or door skin/ bottom frame. I know of two that can do this type of work. Bear in mind Betas have now entered this restoration domain.

Don't get too hung up on "filler free" cars, they don't exist!
Nothing wrong with filler if used for purpose, shaping repairs. It's only an issue if it's used instead of repairs.
I know of many "bare metal" cars that are skimmed all over to get body lines right, and I'm talking 6 figure plus cars, it's a fact of life.

Lancia used plenty of filler when they were making our prized cars in the first place, all be it lead rather than plastic.
