Can anyone recommend a car restoration course that would enable me to develop my skills from an enthusiastic novice?
I'm based in Hampshire, but could travel if required (post Covid). Online also a possibility if good.
Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

https://www.contouracademy.com/

I've personally been on a course with these guys, near Peterborough so maybe a bit far for you although Bruce does get people from all over the country.
Can't recommend them highly enough.
I've been working in garages all my life, right from welding Austin maxi and Ford cortina but I still learnt plenty of new skills.
Don't worry about if you've no or very little experience, they can cater for all levels of experience.

Thanks Kevin - will check it out - although a bit further than I hoped!

For any one near to Kent, Mid Kent college have run car restoration courses. I attended for most evenings over a period of three years. A while ago now, but I did bump into a fellow classmate comparatively recently, who was still enjoying himself there. Richard

I have not investigated in detail but I believe that there are some courses run from Bicester Heritage.
This might be a bit closer for you.
