Anyone got a 3" black face seedometer they are prepared to lend me for a few weeks please.

The one from the Dilambda is away being repaired and with a show or two to attend it would be nice to fill the hole in the instrument panel.

Just when I thought that it was going to have to be a cardboard cut out, my good friend Morris Parry came to the rescue with a suitable item.

Many thanks Morris for all the trouble you went to.

Robin, that is good news, we wouldn't want you speeding to Brooklands on Saturday.

Under the circumstances it turned out to be very unlikely as Robin had a bearing give up the ghost on the way to Brooklands, such a shame after all the work he has put into it.

Yes, got the sump off today and sadly its another big end (shades of Turin 2006) However, this time I've got 3 weeks to sort it out for the Sliding Pillar Rally instead of the 10 days for Turin!

Did make Brooklands in the Fanalone, all be it a tad late.

Robin,

Sorry to hear it is a big end problem as you had suspected, but I am very glad you managed to attend the day at Brooklands in the Fanalone.
