As you know, some older 30's and 40's Lancias have left hand thread wheel nuts on the passenger side (RHD cars) - Aprilias, Ardeas for sure and probably Augusta, etc etc

We have routinely been tipping cars on their side using a roller system so that they can be welded, undersealed or cleaned and so on. The tipping plates are bolted to the drums using the wheel nuts. I didn't like all the pressure being on the cone of the wheel nut , so I turned down some RH thread wheel nuts (with large washers) so that the load is better spread across the plates - but I don't have enough LH thread wheel nuts to be able to sacrifice 8

I have been able to source some LH thread nuts of the correct pitch and diameter (M14x1.5) but had to buy a minimum of 50 !

So if anyone is interested in some (not for bolting wheels on .......) for similar work, they are available - 15 pounds sterling for 8 (I don't have a pound sign on my French keyboard !) plus any eventual postage charges

The Augusta has too.

I'm not sure, but the Traction Avant had the same arrangement. Might be worth to ask around.
