I am fitting an electric fan to my S1 but am having difficulty tracking down a thermo switch that fits the water pump. It appears to be smaller than the ones that fit S2/3 radiators. Does anyone know where they are available or the thread size? ta

I have one, but I suspect it's for S2 - it is 22mm X 1.5mm. Let me know if it's of interest.

I fitted a new adjustable bulb type  thermostat to our Fulvia GT which used a sensor in the top hose. Easily found on eBay I recall.

Parts book only shows for water pump and not base of radiator??? Maybe an aftermarket pump has a smaller thread (or none in some cases as per earlier pumps).
