I sent my works car over to Paul at Vere Lancia today in a covered transporter (it's due to rain tomorrow).
After trying to figure out which cams it has in it (and failing) - I decided to just get it checked over and sorted out, rather than fiddling and possibly screwing it up. I found plenty of things so far that were wrong and put them right (ignition timing, venturis, float levels, valve clearances, carb balance, fuel pressure and lines) - but I suspect cam timing now. Much as I'd like to have messed around and done it myself - sometimes you have to know your limits and step aside. I wouldn't want to mess this one up. So - I'll update this thread as and when I get some feedback if anyone is interested.

On another note - I'll be listing a S2 Lusso (RHD) in a little while in case anyone is looking for one. It needs sills, and the body is generally very good - but just has micro blisters from a contaminated spray gun (the blisters are in a pattern).
Here's some info about it from an old auction listing:
https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/18216/lot/327/?category=list

Probably be listed with a complete spare HF engine with new HC pistons, light flywheel, new rods still in Fiat/Lancia packaging and re-bored block, reground crank, etc.

Having 3 Fulvias is lovely - but I need the space for something else.

Cheers,
Justin.
