Hi all.

I was thinking of trying to organise a regular meet up in the Hereford area - obviously, once things get back to something approaching normal. I'd like to hear from anyone who would potentially be interested - just to see whether it's worth pursuing.

Thanks,
Justin.

Ok - so it's obviously not worth pursuing.

Anyone who is within easy reach of Shelsley Walsh though, have a think about coming to the classic nostalgia event in a couple of weeks. There will be quite a few Lancias attending.

Well done for trying Justin. I know from my efforts in Yorkshire that it is like starting a super tanker when you set off from the point of no established meeting or group.

I do not think the forum is very efficient for using to organise a local meet.

A more personal email approach by you Jus to members in your area could yield a better response. Sarah (membership secretary) can provide member email lists of your area (you define).

Please do not give up!

Anyone else reading this wishing to try to set up a local meet - same applies.

Tim and Neil - I think you're both right. I'll get in touch with Sarah and see if I can do something. The problem is, that there are quite a few people around who aren't members. This last Thursday, there was an Italian themed evening at Shelsley, and I was parked next to an Integrale. Pete - the owner isn't a member, but hopefully he will be soon.

I’m not far from Shelsey Walsh, near Cleobury Mortimer, maybe 30-45 minutes drive dependant on tractors.

Would be nice to get out and about again.  Not really been to a meet with a Lancia since about 1985 when I had a new Monte Carlo spider and went to a big Italian day down in Kent.
