All,
My dash has an old, non working radio in it and I have seen photos on the site of dashboards without radios but with the beautiful chrome Fulvia logo in its place. Has anybody gone down the route of replacement. If I really want a radio, I was thinking about a glovebox installation, but there again speakers would be a problem as I would not want to cut into the door cards.
Thoughts and thanks
Paul

My recently bought car had been owned by someone who saw fit to throw away the original dash so that he could fit some ghastly modern radio with flashing lights, he made a new dash out of a plank of wood and fitted huge speakers to the doors. All in the skip now. If I want music on the go I have one of those portable bluetooth/soundcard speakers which fits in the glove-box and can sit on top of the dash with some bluetac.

Paul as you will see from my recent post under parts wanted I have also been looking for a radio blank but for my Series 1 Berlina. In my search I have seen one or two dashboards for sale on eBay for other Fulvias. It can take a bit of perseverance to find them when the description doesn’t always match the search criteria. The other problem is they are often generously priced on behalf of the seller but that’s part and parcel of running a 50 yr old Lancia.

If the blanking plate is proving impossible to find and you want a radio anyway why not get one of the period radios converted to modern digital electronics. I have often been tempted by www.vintagecarradio.co.uk.

You can buy the script and make a plate ut of reverse hardboard painted satin black.

Or alternatively

https://www.pieces-fulvia.com/plate-support-of-writing-for-dashboard-lancia-fulvia-all-models.htm

They are open for business and ship quickly.
