Hi All.
The monthly Essex meet at Chequers Matching Green, will take place this wednesday from 18.30-19.30  till around 10pm(there is a special early bird deal on food) as usual.
I have received a message from the management assuring us that the staff are fully trained in the current situation and extra measures are being taken to limit infection.
I will be there, if anyone is interested in our current state..
Thanks.

Hi Again.
It seems that now it is not possible to have meetings at pubs/restaurants as just advised by the government.
Therefore there will be no meet until things return to normsl again.
Sorry everyone, stay well.

Paul,

I think that the advice is to 'avoid' pubs, theatres and restaurants, thank God I don't own or work in any of these!

In truth, if we are unable to host small social gatherings in pubs, there will be no pub there once this crisis is over.

Just some food for thought.

Hi Neil.
Unfortunate for all , the people who run these must be worried sick.
As you say, how long may this go on for?
Certainly a mad situation.
