Funnily enough, the stand details - Hall 8, Stand 297/8 - are the same as advised by a father & son team, Francesco and Abramo Baldi from Prato who sell mainly Appia and Flaminia bits.
I will investigate on Thursday.

My day yesterday was primarily social but I definitely formed the impression that for the older post war Lancia models, there were more properly reconditioned and rebuilt spare parts for sale ( as opposed to modern flimsy poor quality repro parts) but at a price. Nevertheless I felt that was progress.

The Hungarian Company, Panelcraft Ltd can supply complete new bodies for Lancia Aurelia B20 and B24 and also some Flaminia models.
They also have some good quality rubber and cast aluminium spare parts for both models.

There were also hundreds of cars for sale but I only really looked closely at a small number of them, again at high prices but they were very good examples of the make/model and the sellers are known to me as not being greedy.

www.accauto.hu

Contact is Zsolt A Csullog

I have mixed feelings about the possibility of newly manufactured cars, in particular their identity.

Hi Chris.....

It is less newly-made cars, that rescuing things such as the below, which, in a matter of a few of months, can be made into running/driving cars. What else can you do with this except effectively make a new body? And as one of 1959 closed-headlight Appia Zagatos, isn't it worth saving?

This shop in Hungary is like Torino in the 1950s - their work on Lancias is amazing, in my experience unprecedented.  They can work on good original cars, or previously unapproachable wrecks. They have completed both kinds of project for me, and another one in process. I cannot more highly recommend their work.

Yes, I agree with you and I have friends who have used them with good results.
I was not in any way criticizing the quality of what they do - just remarking on vehicle identity as I have certainly seen 2 'fake' B24 Spiders in the last 5 years.
I was very impressed by their presentation and also the apparent quality of their work.
I also was very pleased to see the quality of some of the spare parts they are re-manufacturing which was certainly an improvement on those from my normal port of call.
