I am busy (still) fitting new rubber seals to the quarter light on my Coupe. The old seals are bedded on a bitumen/rubber type sealant which is still flexible after all these years with no signs of hardness which makes it easy to remove. Question is: what to use in its place.
My local garage suggested Tiger Seal or a PU sealant. I have no experience of these products but feel they might go “hard” like silicon which will not give me the ply ability  and if needed, the ease of replacing the seals in the future.
Any experiences from other members of materials they have used or what to use in this instance would be most welcome.
Thank you

Tiger seal is not right as it will set. Any automotive bodyshop/paint supplier will sell window sealer.

Many thanks for the replies and confirmation re Tiger Seal. Thanks too for typical suppliers.
Searching the web I see that 3M make a Windscreen Sealant which does not set, part number 08509.

Trying to reconcile "It’s easy to pop out, and adheres well to metal, rubber and glass."
