Very interesting - I've said something similar(ish) on the Tesla Taxi thread and means whatever happens , I guess you'll still be able to drive a classic.

If I was going down this route, simplest ( to me ) is to have an electric motor and 3d-print a case for it that matches the original engine so it can just be bolted in Smiley

It's good that it's being done though I think.
