More from an email I have just received:

INAUGURA HERITAGE HUB

The new multi-purpose space that hosts FCA Heritage

FCA Heritage officially enters its new Turin home.

The premises of the former Officina 81 - in the Mirafiori industrial area - now house Heritage HUB , the new headquarters of FCA Heritage. A place of work, services and training is born, a fluid and creative space in which it is possible to experience first hand the history of Italian motoring and the cars that have written it.

15,000 m2 of surface, over 250 cars and 8 thematic exhibitions , plus the exhibition dedicated to the 80 years of the Mirafiori plant .

Space will also be given to the products and services offered by FCA Heritage and the cars offered for sale as part of the Reloaded by Creators program , which will be exhibited in two dedicated stands.

Soon the space will be open to the public, who will be able to visit it with guided tours. Information on visits will soon be available on the FCA Heritage website.

I think an LMC visit is a must

Possible interest in a future visit to the Heritage Hub prompted the following response:

"We will be delighted to host the British Lancia Club, and we hope to open the HUB to guided tours before the summer starts. Would you please suggest the members to contact our email address <heritage@fcagroup.com> once they have finalised their itinerary?"

In 2004 we stayed in what was the Meriden Hotel in Lingotto, room were in the old Fiat production building with floor to ceiling windows, which on the first morning when we opened the blinds, the view was of beautiful snowcapped Mountains.
Lovely hotel and views, In the middle of the  Restaurant was a lovely Fiat 1920's open Tourer from their collection.
Because we were staying we also had access to the roof, an art gallery, and the art deco spiral up to the roof.

I have one thing to say to Gianfranco Gentile.....SBALORDITIVO  Cool..!!!and a big thanks.

As Brian says, a stay at Lingotto and a tour of the Heritage Hub, plus maybe a factory tour would be on my 2019 "love to do list".
