1994 red LHD Lancia Dedra Integrale, thought to be the only one on the road in the UK, current mileage is 66,254.  Until 2015 it lived in Belgium and Luxembourg with its previous owner who brought it into the UK. Comes complete with a second set of 4 winter wheels and tyres.
It has a comprehensive service record and since I owned it, has had the following done: timing belt, front brake discs and pads, battery, SS exhaust, new oil cooler and pipes, completely wax oiled, refurbished wheels, clutch slave cylinder, replaced 8v starter motor with 16v one, replaced leaking sump gaskets and new clutch.
She is a pleasure to drive and appeared on the Lancia stand at the 2018 NEC Classic Car Show. Only reason for sale is I have run out of garage space.
£9,500 ono including new MOT. Send me a message with what photos you would like to see.

With a car like the Dedra, you never know how much it is worth until you test the market, which I have now and with very little interest so I open the sale up to any sensible offers please. I will be driving it to the Bristol Italian Car Display this Saturday the 15th June at the SS Great Britain if it is not pouring down, so I hope I can show it off then.

I guess one way to price the car would be against Alfa 155 Q4. We“ve had a Q4 for quite a few years now, but it would be hard to get 7500GBP for the car in the UK where they have no real following.

The Dedra Integrale is even more obscure, but there should be a Lancia freak in Benelux or Germany who is willing to pay a good price. As the car can be exported to USA, $99 spent listing on Bring a Trailer is money well-spent. the coverage is huge and there“s a good foloowing for Lancias. I“ve sold cars to Europe from there, so it isn“t exclusively US buyers.

Well nearly another month gone - does no one like Dedras anymore, and this maybe the most collectable one there is.  It needs to be used and enjoyed and I don't have the time, so something has to go, how about if I reduce it to £6,500? Anyone interested?

Chris,

Don't give it away, it's worth more than that, I know you need the space, but come on someone has to bite, be patient a little while longer.

Nooooo..... don't reduce it one more pound!

I've seen this car in the metal. It's a lovely, collector-grade example of a very rare Lancia & very well-kept - a true gentleman's express. Of powerful road-going capability, it arrives in a good, strong colour, too - indeed the only proper colour for a sporting Lancia.

So please don't reduce it, Chris - you'd be selling both the car & yourself short! Considering the transmission that resides below the floor, a rare bolide properly deserving of its illustrious badging: which is why the Dedra Integrale sold like hot cakes to Italians in its home market, especially in their Alpine provinces, but we English still don't get it. (Apparently we're the same with parmesan, too....)
No, your only problem here is one of a pearl placed before swine.....

'Dedra' is a letter in the Greek alphabet; which in marketing terms is/was all very classy in Europe but still has (and did have back in the 1990s, when Lancia UK still existed and the Heron Group marketed them) a quite unfortunate phonetic correlation for us Anglo-Saxons: that dull ring of mortality.

While 'Delta' happily lacks those undertones, the 'Dedra' in its day certainly did benefit from a halo-effect from Lancia's famous rallying 'Integrale' Deltas. Unfortunately I'm afraid that, for the average British classic car enthusiast today, extending that sporting link to the Dedra saloon is just too complicated to grasp, if they ever even made it in the first place (which is unlikely). Why the real market for this car is in Europe and the slide of sterling against the Euro should make your car even more attractive yet to discerning European Lancia collectors wanting to extricate & rescue it before that Halloween deadline...

No, some abstract, localised side-effects from a bit of sadly-cockeyed 1990s UK marketing by the Heron Group give no sensible reason for interested parties to think this rare but handsome cross-country galloper any less of a car. (Just test drive one to see)

Nor should the fact it comes in LHD distract the true UK enthusiast, a feature which in my book and in Britain - in places like Wales, Cumbria & Scotland - I've always preferred as a feature enabling the keen driver to go faster (but safer) on narrow country lanes, in those parts of the country you itch to take a good car.  'Ditch-hooking' what the forest rally boys call it, and a vital safety option made available to any UK driver sitting on the left hand side of the car when coming round a blind bend in the middle of nowhere that's flanked with dry stone walls - only to suddenly encounter 'The Unexpected'.....

And aren't all Integrales LHD anyway? Not to mention the Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 - like the Dedra Integrale, a very similar car to its Delta siblings under the skin, but similarly overlooked. Though not in Europe.

Stick to your guns!

If you aren't stepping up to buy it then there surely is little point in saying don't reduce the price any further. If it needs a new home where it can be properly stored and cared for then making it affordable for a less affluent enthusiast has to be a good thing. Some of us long for the car of our dreams at a price we can afford.

Yes, I'm sorry, Chris - Frank is absolutely right.

My supportive words above (directed to a friend) were quite offbeam - so do as Frank says and act more charitably, dropping your price so someone else can have it cheaply.

Blessed are the meek!

Ebay is the destroyer of all the crazy ideas we have of what our 'priceless' Lancias are worth...stick it on there with a reserve.
