Does anyone know the bearing number for the Kappas rear wheel bearing. I have tried to order one from Lancia (via the local Fiat dealer) but have been told that the part is no longer stocked.

Ade , if nobody else comes up with this first (via a parts database), the I'll pop into a local dealer as soon as I get chance and get the part number.i'll check the price and availability also.

 Hi Ade,
Usual Lancia practice you have to buy the complete hub rather than just the bearing. Sad
eper quotes 2 numbers.
46426612 (D3203)  in 2005 Cost was £70.34
46531237 (D 3203) in 2005 cost was £120.54

The C & D appears to be a before & after chassis number change.

Yes Brian the part I ordered was with the hub, but I am not sure if it is  'not available' to the UK or if it could be available in mainland Europe, so William if you could check availibility in Belgium that would be a help. Or to my original request anyone know the bearing number, rather than the Lancia part number? Thanks Ade.

Hi Ade,
Try this: http://www.emi-skf.pl/download/skf_vkba_en_2003-2004.pdf

It has all the part numbers in, just search on Kappa. Alternativly if the bearing is out of the car it should have a number stamped on the cage - take this to your friendly bearing supplier and he will be able to get one - at about 1/2 the price of the Lancia/Fiat part.
SKF stuff can be ordered from most places.

According to that catelogue the kit number (1 x bearing, 1 x nut, 1x circlip) is VKBA 3578 (shared with various other FIAT group cars).

I found this

www.ricauto.it/download.aspx?documento=SKF.PDF

selling them at €95

I would check as I know nothing about Kappas, but have had some experience of tracking down bearings !

Thanks Neil, this is the info I needed, as the bearing is still in the car..... and I don't want to take it out untill I change it, 'cos driving a car with 3 wheels is a bit difficult!!!!  I have a very good local bearing supplier, they keep Aurelia wheel bearings on the shelf!!
Cheers Ade

I've just looked at the SKF site, all the info I needed!  The rear wheel bearing for the earlier Kappa Coupes is VKBA 3433, if anyone else needs to know.
