Another excellent National Rally weekend and much thanks to David, Ruth and Simon for the slick organisation. Oh, and the lovely weather on the Saturday and Sunday. Pity about the heavy rain on the Friday afternoon which made for a trying 150 mile journey up from Sussex in the Dilambda. However, she performed well and although the effective weather equipment kept me dry and snug it got so hot in the cabin that I arrived drenched in perspiration!
Highlight of the weekend for me was that there was not one but two Thetas in attendance on the Saturday, Roland Grazebrook's red one and Roger Perkins' blue one. Having had a ride in Roger's car Roland got Roger to drive us including Bruno Cena the guest speaker on a run out in his car. What a fabulous experience and one I shall never forget.
