Was there just today !     (...most days.   Was wet on Thursday and had the spot to myself and could see nobody down below for periods as the few out went behind trees.  Today full of picnics and bikes. )

My tourist info bit:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Wolfe
https://www.rmg.co.uk/royal-observatory

Bit of trivia - which country doesn't use the prime meridian on its maps?

That's a lovely picture of a gorgeous car. I hope your chemo goes well and you get the chance to enjoy it very soon.

Thanks for the comments guys. Looking forward to getting my Sport on a long drive. It drove brilliantly when I picked it up and I’ve only been out a few times. Just getting use to the dogleg first gear. Such a lovely shape to my eyes.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom_Ordnance_Survey_Zero_Meridian

THE meridian runs through a particular telescope, but the one the OS uses is based on an older telescope next door as they've yet to update. Pretty much every other country in the world uses the new one.

There are also small satnav anomalies.

Thanks Chris! Back in UK now with full load of wine, beer etc. The 2c did heroically well! Thanks to Tim's engine rebuild the car ran faultlessly, smoothly and economically.
