I hadn't been on the consortium website in a while. I rather liked this photo of Brian's Sport.

A nice day here! So a small drive was scheduled, to blow out the cobwebs.

I am busy translating internet articles from all over the place to unravel the mysteries of Lancia Ansaldo armoured cars in WW1. Fascinatingly the fuel tank was an upright cylinder in the middle of the fighting compartment that doubled up as a pedestal on which the commander or machine gunner in the upper turret stood! Talk about living dangerously. Picture courtesy of the Military Museum Lichkov.

After nearly four years of Lancia ownership I've finally got round to posting (I seem to have some spare time on my hands at the moment!)
Had the Alfa for 18 years and this was the first time they met

Photo taken a few weeks ago end of Feb. in better times. What a difference a month makes. Forgive the artistic license with the flag - it was there in the background just asking to be photo-shopped a bit. Unfortunately this was the 1st and last outing after a 3 year restoration of blood, sweat and tears. Sod's law that it's finally "all dressed up with nowhere to go". I've tried to counter the boredom of the lock-down by dragging some of the restoration photos into a blog / website. It's work in progress, but hope it's of interest: www.lancia1965.wordpress.com

I share the pain! I bought my first Lancia Fulvia one week before lock-down...so far I’ve discovered two gears - reverse, to drive it off the trailer and first to drive it 25 yards into the garage where it has remained ever since.
