To be fair it looks as if it has been in a dry barn since 1937 and seems to be in excellent condition.   Just needs a bit of a clean and some oil down the bores...

That will be €30,000 for the car and €100,000 for being in the Mille Miglia!

Asking prices for cars for sale at Padova always seem to be somewhat ambitious to me but I only ever visit the show on the preview day - i.e the first day when there are relatively few visitors.
However talking to someone last night (Sunday) who was at the very crowded show yesterday, he said that quite a high proportion of the cars for sale had 'sold' signs on them.

I was there on Sunday and did not find it as crowded as I was expecting. I saw Tony Harrisons photos he took of Lancias (so many) on the Thursday and noted some had sold signs on then. I cannot say I saw many more sold signs on Sunday but registered some ambitious prices on average or below average Fulvias, but also some nice cars at sensible prices that had not sold.

Its not the winning but taking part! or is it taking apart?

Podova being the show case/main Mostra Scambio in Italy, no doubt it'll attract the biggest audience of the year and potentially those with cash burning a hole it their pockets.

Nonetheless an arbitrary €100000 premium for an original Mille Miglia Augusta is stretching it a bit! But as Chris and Tim noted, plenty of cars seemed to sell, but prices are perhaps all over the place.
