as reported last year I discovered fractures in the venturis in both carbs on my car.The metal is an aluminium composite and is very prone to disintegration as it becomes brittle with age.Pieces had already loosened and were in danger of being consumed by the engine.Reluctantly I began to look for replacements. The venturi's are seperate sleeves that are shrunk into place by heating and cooling the carb bodies and trying to remove the original parts is a risky process. As the carbs are impossible to find and rather fragile nobody seemed willing to attempt the work.

I'm pleased to say that a dutch company (full report to follow) has now made perfect replacements and completely rebuilt the carbs to new condition.
I will place a further description with photo's of the restoration but my camera packed up yesterday. For now here is a photo of the twin carbs before the restoration. You can see the abarth manifold and air filters. The carburettor(s) are the original type as supplied by lancia (but two instead of one of course.)

Here a couple of photos as promised. You can clearly see the brittle failure of the originals next to a first test replacement.
The zeniths are completely rebuilt with remanufacture of spindles, butterfly valves and the venturis of course.Effectively new units once more.
I can recommend BCCP as the only specialist that was willing to try this job and the clinical conditions of their workshop.True specialists in every respect.
